Wheat bran makes up to 60% of the total mass of mixed animal feed: for fattening cattle, dairy cows and sheep – up to 50-60%, for horses, calves, pigs - up to 40%, for store pigs - up to 25%.
Wheat bran is rich of minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, selenium, copper, etc.), vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, nicotinic acid, B-6, folic acid, vitamin A, IU 9 IU, vitamin E, vitamin K.), lipids and amino acids.
Due to the protein content and its excellent absorption, wheat bran is widely used in livestock around the world.
